The Whisky Scholar Program

Become a Certified Whisky Scholar
Our “Whisky Scholar” program is a multi-level journey in whisky education designed for both professionals and passionate enthusiasts. It is a path not only to knowledge but also to certification by our distillery.
Levels of Certification
Level 1 — Foundations
Level 2 — Aroma Mastery
An eight-hour immersion in the fundamentals: how whisky is made, its history, its styles, its tasting methods. Alongside aroma training, scholars explore more than 50 whiskies from around the world.
Level 2 — Aroma Mastery
Level 2 — Aroma Mastery
A long-form apprenticeship of the senses. Over several months, scholars train with our Universal Aroma Kit, revisiting Level 1 knowledge and honing their olfactory memory. The rite of passage is a sensory evaluation: correctly identify at least 60% of aromas, distinguish whisky styles blind, and pass a multiple-choice test of whisky knowledge.
Level 3 — Style Mastery
Level 3 — Style Mastery
The summit of the program. Participants undergo specialized courses in Scotch, Irish, American, and World Whisky. Upon completing all four, the scholar is awarded the title of Certified Master of Whisky.
